Always look on the bright side of life...

So, I'm on vacation this week at the 'country house' (I love the juxtaposition of how fancy that sounds with out really really not fancy the house is - esp. the upstairs being powered by an extension cord from downstairs, which is, I'm sure, completely up to code...).

It's a mix of vacation and work on some renos on the house.

I seem to be sick.  It just started today, but it sucks.  (and no, I'm assuming it's not listeriosis)I've spent the entire day in bed, but have now left that area because john is pulling up a floor there, which means, you know, not as relaxing as you might think...

So, as you can imagine, I'm grumpy at being sick, but...

I just had this moment of intense joy that was really funny.  I'm eating a banana that is at it's *PERFECT* ripeness for me.  I'm very picky about bananas and there is about 20 minutes in it's entire life cycle when it's perfect.  This one, it's perfect.

So, I laughed at myself at the intense joy, and I figured, hey, I bet I know a group of people who'd like to laugh at me too!

so, laugh away my pretties, laugh a way...
